Maintaining his winning formula of crafting highly compassionate songs, Irish singer, and songwriter Zach James Douglas is back with ‘You’re Still Everything’ highlighting his extraordinary skills as a producer.
Zach James Douglas – You’re Still Everything
Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Zach James Douglas has released his second single of the year. This track contains the same charm and dedication shown in previous deliveries while conveying another meaningful subject.
Like an athlete getting stronger with every workout session, each offering from Zach feels like a significant step toward new artistic heights, evidenced in his latest tune, You’re Still Everything.
For this single, Zach joined forces with Milton Keynes native Lupupa, who was in charge of the soft and gorgeously delivered vocals that grant this musical work with a majestic vibe.
Lupupa’s voice glides smoothly through the intricate production, an area in which Zach shines splendidly, combining Shoegaze, lo-fi, symphonic arrangements, and his recognized electronic beat to create a colourful soundscape.
The song is inspired by those who aided others during the pandemic and stayed strong for the ones they love, as Zach explains in more detail:
“With my previous single “I’d Breathe For You”, the focus was based around the challenges faced by an individual, struggling to build meaningful connections during lockdown, but with “You’re Still Everything” I felt it was important to acknowledge those who put others before themselves and served as a rock for the ones they love, who couldn’t quite cope with the weight of the pandemic on their own”.
You’re Still Everything is a touching melody that succeeds due to its relevant message and astonishing performance by this one-man band.
This is one of those occasions when everything is on point: the special guest, the endearing discourse, and the production. It is no exaggeration to say that Zach James Douglas has done it again.
