The Daydream Club return with Heavy Hearted (For 2 Pianos), the second single from the duo’s latest Piano Project // Duets and we have the exclusive first look at the video.
Music For Breakups
Let’s face it we’ve all experienced break-ups or a deep sadness that’s all consuming. In those moments you want to hear music that expresses the true depth of your sadness while you look distantly out of the window at the rain. Heavy Hearted is that soundtrack.
You could view Heavy Hearted as an anti-Valentines anthem. It’s certainly something to help you work through the emotions, in the knowledge that you are not the only person to have felt like this, and certainly won’t be the last.
There is a wonderful atmosphere about this track, from the start it feels like a heavy mist hanging over the piano. With Heavy Hearted, The Daydream Club have perfectly encapsulated that moment when the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders.
Heavy Hearted – Out Today
Heavy Hearted is designed to be more than a soundtrack for the divided. Released today, it’s also intentionally designed to unite. The plan is simple, write music which allows two pianos to play together via the Sheet Music available on their website. But don’t worry, if you don’t have a musical mate, you can still enjoy performing the duet by playing alongside the band.
Heavy Hearted is the second track to be taken from The Daydream Club’s latest Piano Project // Duets. Listen to lead single Wolf Winter here.
