‘Red Dress’ by The Bad Man brings us a unique sound to groove with.
The Bad Man – Red Dress
“Red Dress” blends a multitude of styles into one single masterpiece. This song is an infusion of rock, a hint of laid-back reggae, and indie styles. Compared to the plethora of other songs in The Bad Man’s catalogue, “Red Dress” gives us a softer side to their heavier rock image.
When first listening to this song, it sounds like the perfect track to blast on a sunny afternoon drive with the windows rolled down thanks to the groove laid down by drummer Joe Ramm and bassist Warren Peterson. Lead vocalist, Peter Memorich’s gravel-filled, smokey voice is a welcome sound in a market that’s filled with so many of the same voices. Peter’s voice is only complimented by the clean guitar tones chosen by guitarist, Patrick Davis. What is truly unique about this group though is saxophone melodies that effortlessly flow throughout The Bad Man’s rock sounds. Ben Hintz is a master at blending his saxophone into the full band rock sounds.
Together all five members of The Bad Man create a sound unlike anything else you will hear in the music scene. Their single “Red Dress” is the first single to be released from their upcoming EP “Flying Couch – EP”.
