Foreign Slippers is the brainchild of Swedish songstress Gabi Fröden. After a search around the usual social media sites we still don’t know much more. What we do know is her music is incredible, stunning in fact. This is why Foreign Slippers are our featured new artist of the week.
The debut EP ‘Oh Death’ released back in 2007 is a beautifully mellow and absorbing affair, about love, death and bad dreams. That led to a full length album “Farewell To The Old Ghosts” currently only available as a limited edition clothbound CD – we really, really want a copy!
Fast forward to this year and we arrive at the haunting “What Are You Waiting For” which is available as part of a FREE 3 track EP and the stunning “It All Starts Now” which swells to become a singalong anthem complete with hand claps.

Like all new loves Foreign Slippers leave us full of intrigue, we want to know more.
