I always think the best music, is the music that inspires you to go and listen to other great music…in an Amazon if you like this, you’ll probably like this kinda way. Before you know it, you’ve lost several hours reminiscing about incredible music and you’ve built yet another playlist.
The Book Affair
That’s exactly the effect, London / Kent-based four-piece ‘Book Affair‘ had on me this morning. What’s remarkable is this musical journey all stemmed from one track, a rather fine demo called ‘Alexa.’ Yes, it’s fair to say ‘Book Affair’ are new. ‘Alexa’ is an unashamedly 80s-influenced, synth, guitar-pop tune that grabs your hand and drags you to the dance floor. I eagerly await more.
