Myriad – Getting Started
Since their inception, this quartet has been making waves in both their local scene and beyond. Their music, characterized by honest lyricism and infectious hooks, has garnered support from numerous music outlets, including BBC Introducing, Voice FM, Indie Central, RGM Magazine, and Express FM.
In addition to their media recognition, Myriad has graced the stages of various summer festivals such as Victorious Festival, Southampton Guildhall Square, and Gosport Waterfront Festival. Notably, their recent UK debut tour received a warm reception, with two sold-out shows in their hometown of Southampton.
With a strong momentum behind them, Myriad introduces their first single of the year, Getting Started. The song delves into the theme of embarking on a fresh start with someone from a tumultuous past, embracing the initial euphoria despite the looming uncertainty.
Right from the start, Getting Started captivates listeners with its dynamic rock instrumentation, featuring vibrant guitar hooks and a lively rhythm section. This energetic backdrop serves as a striking contrast to the melancholically poignant lyrics, delivered with emotive vocals that resonate deeply with the audience.
Fortunately, this release marks only the beginning of what promises to be a stellar year for Myriad, as Getting Started serves as a precursor to their upcoming EP, Move To LA, slated for release in May 2024. Additionally, the band has a confirmed festival lineup and, notably, their largest headline show to date scheduled for March 16th at Southampton’s Heartbreakers venue. Make sure to mark your calendars for this event!
