The dreamy Manchester two-piece Flowers of Evil have recently released their newest, enchanting single ‘Getting Better’.

Despite being newer on the scene, there is no doubt that the duo showcase an air of expertise with their polished sound and addictive music. Getting Better is both funky and sensual to a high degree.
‘Getting Better’ provides a certain type of lustful listening due to its swaying guitar and swinging melody. Flowers of Evil are clearly taking an old school sensuous rock sound but jazzing it up with a modern and modish backbeat.
The lead singer’s voice is simply angelic, it is one of those voices that is undeniably soothing to listen to, heavenly and pure. The meaning to the song, according to the band themselves, is that of despair during the COVID-19 pandemic. They find themselves struggling to watch the negative effect of the virus on humanity.
