Fighting his way into the competitive world of Hip-hop, Leicester-based Low-Kee has shared his newest release, Cypher Freestyle, teaming up with three other rising MCs to create an honest and bold rap gem.
Low-Kee – ‘Cypher Freestyle’
While he is still an uprising performer, Low-Kee rapping abilities denote the innate talent that he has cultivated since he started writing his first verses at the age of 15. In the span of a year, he has received support from the likes of Link Up TV and BBC Asian Network.
But not everything has been a bed of roses for this artist. Making it this far into his career came with a fair share of obstacles and difficulties, as he explains:
“What inspired me to get into music was we had a really bad tragedy where we all went through a massive heartbreak, which took a big part in my life away. I was stressed for a long time, not thinking right and I had so much going on in my brain and in my heart, my uncle pushed me forward to make music.”
For his most recent offering, Cypher Freestyle, Low-Kee has collaborated with the artists Yankee, SD, and Hugo, adding hot rhymes into this hard-hitting jamm, displaying a sharp and cutting wordplay that blends incredibly well with the exceptional production.
Cypher Freestyle exudes realness, coming as a solid piece in the rap game due to its splendorous wordplay.
Low-Kee has demonstrated how perseverance pays off in the end, from the ashes of tragedy, he continues to rise and gift people with high-quality raps. This track undoubtedly solidifies Low-Kee as a young promise in the UK’s Hip-hop scene, successfully capturing what he is all about and setting the tone for the next chapter of a story that has just begun.
