Returning with their electric throwback tune, Komparrison surely have “done it again” with their newest foot-tapping banger ‘And Again’. After bursting onto the scene in 2021, the five-piece band have quickly established their own unique sonic brand that packs a rock-style punch whilst also staying commercial and undeniably infectious.
The North-East based collective have also shared an accompanying music video for the track, featuring a retro, kitschy aesthetic that is effortlessly cool. Powerful vocals and fuzzy melodies define the single, as the group explain “It’s a feel-good song that will help you finally get over that certain person… we’ve all been there.” Offering up some wisdom alongside their playful, Lily Allen-esque lyrics, Komparrison show they are a band that really has it all.
Komparrison is formed of friends Elise, Kaitlyn, Ellie, Jess & Elliott, with each member adding their own zesty talents into the mix. Since they began releasing music, the group have caught the attention of many tastemakers including BBC Introduction, BBC Radio 6 and Radio X. Bridging the gap between Brit-pop and indie, Komparrison’s sound is gorgeously nostalgic yet super original. Bringing fun and quirky sounds to the forefront, Komparrison aren’t afraid to get experimental, whilst penning words that we can all relate to. With an array of successes already under their belt, Komparrison have found their niche and are a band to watch out for in 2022.
