London-based newcomer KAELI draws on childhood memories and her vocal power for her new release ‘Fires’.
This newcomer from London is what you get when you combine a pop princess smile with a pitch-black sense of humour, resulting in a talented singer on the rise with a deep love for music and theatre.
Introducing KAELI
KAELI originally began in theatre, stealing the show on plays like Les Miserables and Tina the Musical. She also toured worldwide as a backing singer for Hugh Jackman. With a desire to further explore her musical creativity, she began working on her debut EP Kaleidoscope which she released in 2021.
Her debut release received praise from blogs like Music Crowns, sell-out shows in her native London, and support from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Her influences are as varied as her music, including Paramore, MUNA, and Carole King.
KAELI – Fires
Her latest offering, ‘Fires’ is inspired by KAELI’s youth, when she used to hang out with her friends on the beach. While it’s inspired by nostalgia it’s not about wanting to go back, instead it encourages us to release the passion we all have inside.
And talking about passion, this melody takes advantage of KAELI’s stunning vocal range. ‘Fires’ is further stoked by intense instrumentation comprised of colourful riffs and crushing drums which escalates towards a high-energy chorus. This is a track that encourages you to sing out loud from the top of your lungs.
“Fires is an inspirational ode to life, flawlessly performed.”
We look forward to watching her career continue to catch light.
