France-based Gaël Farny is in many ways an accurate representation of a citizen of the world, having travelled many places throughout his life, this vast experience is evident in his latest offering, Never Be Like You.
Gaël Farny – Never Be Like You
Gaël Farny is an author, composer, and performer currently residing in Strasbourg, France. Early in his life, he took part in different bands of Reggae and Ska, these opportunities led him to perform at significant stages in the Grand Est region.
A characteristic that makes Gaël such a distinctive figure in the independent scene is his open-mindedness as a musician. In 2015 he decided to travel all over the globe in search of other musical influences. This adventure took him to visit countries like Colombia, the United States, Ukraine, Russia, The Philippines, Portugal, Ghana, and the United Kingdom.
All this exposed him to a cornucopia of new styles and cultures while enriching his expertise exponentially.
This clash of styles and influences comes into play on his latest melody, Never Be Like You. With its infectious Reggae rhythms, Gaël manages to knock it out of the park with his splendid songwriting skills and a hallucinating guitar solo that adds even more texture to the well-penned production.
Never Be Like You finds its meaning in the deep and almost philosophical themes of identity and belonging, as well as where we should be, reflections that, according to Gaël, are crucial to finding our way in life.
Never Be Like You is a formidable auditive experience that captures your attention as soon as you press play.
This song will be part of Mansfeelings, Gaël’s upcoming EP set for release this year, and more likely will continue delivering quality bangers like this one.
