We admit in the case of The Jude we should probably rename this feature ‘Going steady’ rather than First Signs Of Love (#FSOL) as we’ve been obsessed ever since the vicious skiffle sound of debut single ‘Ha Ha Goodbye’ penetrated our earlobes. But new single ‘Heartbreaker’ is just way too good to avoid. This is truly exciting.
It’s a jaggedly, heart-stopping roller-coaster ride of a song with a post-Libertines twang, that gets the blood pumping. No wonder Radio 1 have added these unsigned upstarts to their daytime playlist.
