The Shallows are a London-based band made up of four members, Tom Skelton on lead vocals, Russ Cragg on guitar, Joe White on bass and Al Hewitt on drums. Taking their influences from the likes of The Strokes, Neu!, Two Door Cinema Club and The Smiths, they write intelligent vocal led, indie guitar floor fillers.
As a case in point, this is ‘Honestly’ and it’s this week’s First Signs Of Love featured track.

Last year The Shallows recorded not one, but three EPs at Youth’s (The Verve, Killing Joke) studio in Spain. ‘Honestly’ is taken from their self titled EP and it seems like the perfect introduction to this exciting new band. We recommend you have a little dig around on their SoundCloud page to hear more.
The track comes with a brilliant animated video.
