Drawing inspiration from video games, animation, movies, and larger-than-life personalities, Enditfaust is an Emo/Grunge artist whose latest single ‘Ditch’ communicates his disappointment with the reality of our modern internet-built society.
Endutfaust – Ditch
As someone who grew up in the 00s during the pre-digital era, Eastern Europe native Enditfaust managed to adapt the idiosyncrasies of internet culture into his life and music. However, this eventually made him feel lost, creating a sense of displacement. That motivated him to develop a trademark sonic style that others with a similar mindset could relate to.
This gloomy vision also plays a vital role in his creative process, like in his brand new composition Ditch:
“I just grab an instrument and instinctively write. For this one in particular, however, I used bits of a song I had written around a year or two previous to that. That old song didn’t really work all that well, so I kind of used its essence to transform it from a very dark, slow, and grimy song into what this track is.”
Ditch does an excellent job at transmitting the poignant yet unfiltered lyrics, driven by a melancholic guitar and Enditfaust’s over-the-top vocals, this is a tune that will resonate strongly with any 00s Alternative Rock fans.
“Ditch is an enjoyable edgy track with passionate and honest lyrics.”
With no regrets and unapologetic as it gets, Enditfaust is on a mission to expand his brand of music even further. As we speak, he is working with a collective of friends to develop a 3D hologram motion-capture system that will enhance his live shows, creating a unique immersive audiovisual experience.
