Introducing Damélola
Damélola is a singer, producer, composer and lyricist from London. She is best known for her quirky cool lyrics, versatility in songwriting and her thought-provoking material. She draws inspiration from artists such as Lauryn Hill, Ciara, Jazmine Sullivan, and Tink, with her signature sound involving a fusion of R&B with Pop-Soul/Funk stylings. Damélola has been writing her own songs from a young age, and has self-trained her incredible voice over the years.
Damélola has performed at Hoxton Hall, Senegal’s Urban Women Festival, Mighty Hoopla Festival, Cross The Tracks Festival, and at O2 Academy at SIMI Headline show. She has also recorded music with top songwriter / producer Jonny Lattimer, and has also worked with top 50 NL producer Shafique Roman. Her list of achievements keeps on growing.
