The third instalment of ‘The Night Remix EP’ is possibly our favourite so far! It sees our intrepid acoustic duo ‘The Daydream Club’ take on the most exciting musical happening to come out of Russia since…well possibly ever! Think Radiohead with a Karen O twist and you may just start to understand the kooky and ever so intriguing Coockoo.

The remix of ‘Saviour’ is a four-to-the-floor, dirty-synth, summer-house number that will most definitely get you dancing. It’s brilliance lies in it’s sense of overwhelming familiarity, surely you’ve heard this before and surely it’s been a huge hit, right? This remix herald’s the arrival of one of Russia’s best kept musical secrets to UK shores. The band are planning to relocate here permanently next year so this probably won’t be the last you’ll hear of them. A full length album is on it’s way, in the meantime we urge to to try and track down their EP ‘Pop Rock Electronica’ or the subversive Russian underground radio hit ‘Groupies Anthem F.U.C.K’ If you search iTunes you’ll find an album containing an astonishing 15 remixes of the track. Coockoo are anything but conventional!
