Comprised of four young but exceptionally talented musicians, the South-West London band Canine Gymkhana has released their latest rock gem, I Doubt We’ll Ever Change.
Canine Gymkhana – I Doubt We’ll Ever Change
Formed in 2022, Canine Gymkhana is an emerging indie rock band from South-West London. With members aged 16 to 17, the group features Arthur Pritchard (vocals/rhythm guitar), Fin Nevill (lead guitar), Alfie Myval (drums), and Andrew Tian (bass).
Despite their youth and recent formation, this four-piece band has already achieved remarkable success, performing at notable London venues. Their accomplishments include two sold-out shows at Ram Jam Records in Kingston and three performances at The Exchange in Twickenham.
April 2023 saw the release of their debut EP, Additional Seating Upstairs, which was met with enthusiastic reviews from both fans and critics. Following this, they dropped two singles in 2024: Don’t Wanna and Cigarette Chandelier. The latter marked a notable shift in their sound, showcasing a more nostalgic and introspective vibe.
Building on their success, Canine Gymkhana is releasing their third single of the year, I Doubt We’ll Ever Change. This track delves into the theme of infatuation with a bad influence, portraying an endless cycle of mistakes that one is unwilling to break. Featuring an unforgettable guitar hook, a foot-tapping bassline, and a dynamic tempo, this three-minute indie rock tune is a sonic delight, with compelling lyrics and a rhythm that practically demands you to dance along.
I Doubt We’ll Ever Change is a lively burst of indie rock—direct, engaging, and thoroughly entertaining.
These three tracks will feature on Canine Gymkhana’s upcoming debut album, which, though still in progress, has already given us plenty to look forward to. Keep an eye on these young lads—the best is yet to come.
