Riser Adria Kain re-invents her previous single ‘Ocean’ with Ocean Reprise just in time for her forthcoming album When Flowers Bloom.
Adria Kain – Ocean (Reprise)
Taking the Canadian music scene by storm, Adria Kain’s star continues to rise, one release at a time. Becoming more aligned with her identity, ‘Ocean (Reprise)’ was the perfect track to run around the errands of her past into the future. Encapsulated by the dreamy, soulful R&B she’s known for, with the authentic take on her voice, from roaring outbursts to thought-provoking spoken words, listeners are connected to a track of a new chapter.
Adria Kain explains the story behind the track.
“It’s beyond me how this song came full circle. I remember where I was in life when I first wrote it years ago. I knew it was a good song, not quite my favourite, but it had an important message that I think even went over my own head,” she said. “I wrote it from a place of sadness. I wanted to create a voice for myself. One that I could run to whenever there was no one else. One that would create a platform big enough for me to exist in without boundaries, like the Ocean, because what’s bigger than that really.”
With the reimbursement of ‘Ocean (Reprise)’ now alive, Adrian Kain’s next step awaits her for next year.
