Coda Chroma is the musical moniker of prolific, Melbourne-based songwriter Kate Lucas.
Out of Body
During the purposely lo-fi video, Lucas effortlessly transports you from a feeling of accepted melancholy to a state of euphoric freedom.
“Out Of Body” circles lyrically around feelings of social isolation, the rediscovery of identity, domestic overwhelm, and Kate’s deep longing for the vast stillness of natural landscapes.
She once again teamed up with producer Damien Charles to create a widescreen and emotive piece of music that draws from influences as disparate as Crosby, Stills Nash and Young, Sebadoh and jangly Flying Nun bands of NZ.
