One of my favourite things about music is when you listen to a track and you could be anywhere in the world, Mark Nichols is a singer songwriter originally from Sheffield who seems to manage this effortlessly. His tracks have a close acoustic nature, a simplicity which is compelling and transports you to jaunty summers frolicking with friends amongst wild flowers and along picturesque coastlines.

This feature FSOL (First Signs Of Love) is not always about the finished article. More often it’s about taking a punt on someone or something we instinctively love. Who know’s what the future will bring for Mark Nichols, but the first signs of love are definitely there. With tracks like ‘The Storm’ and ‘Birdsong’ we’re excited to hear more.
