Singer-songwriter TYYA B has unveiled Potion, the title track from her upcoming EP, in collaboration with rapper KeyLow. This release showcases her eclectic style and evolving artistry.
TYYA B, KeyLow – Potion
Born in Slovenia and raised in a musically inclined household, TYYA B’s journey has been deeply rooted in sound. Growing up with a guitarist father and a brother who played drums in various bands, she began exploring her voice as a child. Over the years, her passion grew to encompass composition and songwriting, eventually leading her to study jazz piano at Austria’s Gustav Mahler University.
Though her catalogue features only a few songs, TYYA B has already captured the hearts of thousands, as reflected in the remarkable streaming numbers for tracks like So Easy, Heights, and My Way.
To promote her upcoming EP, TYYA B teamed up with rapper KeyLow on the track Potion, a song that showcases her vivid creativity and compelling storytelling. In the narrative, TYYA embodies a mystical being from another dimension, crafting a potion to help KeyLow’s character break free from isolation and navigate relationship challenges.
On a broader level, the characters represent contrasting perspectives—TYYA’s optimistic and idealistic outlook stands in stark contrast to KeyLow’s grounded and pragmatic approach.
Building on this intriguing concept, the track highlights a striking interplay between TYYA B and KeyLow. Her dreamy, sweet vocals contrast beautifully with KeyLow’s sharp, witty wordplay, all set against a mesmerising production and smooth, atmospheric beats.
“Potion is a delightfully addictive melody, marked by its captivating contrasts. Enjoy every last drop.”
Potion is the first release from her upcoming EP of the same name. With more music on the horizon for next year, TYYA B is sure to deliver even more surprises soon.
