“Flying delves into suicidal thought as a form of escapist fantasy – exploring mental health through dark projections as a form of levity and grounding. The lyric ‘all is fleeting, nothing’s gonna break me down’ encapsulates the whole track’s sentiment as concisely as I can manage“.
